	On February 10, 2012, the Court will hear Oral Argument at the University of Miami Law School, Newman Alumni Center, 6200 San Amaro Drive, Coral Gables, 33146.
	Commencing Monday, November 7, 2011, the Third District Court of Appeal will offer live streaming from its courtroom beginning approximately 5 minutes prior to each oral argument session. 	On November 4, 2011 at 3:00 PM, the Court held the Investiture of the Honorable Ivan F. Fernandez of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida who, on August 12, 2011, was appointed by Governor Rick Scott to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge David M. Gersten.
	Judge Frank A. Shepherd elected Chief Judge Elect The judges of the Third District Court of Appeal have unanimously elected Judge Frank A. Shepherd as Chief Judge Elect. Judge Shepherd will succeed Chief Judge Linda Ann Wells on July 1, 2013 for a term that will run through June 30, 2015.
	First Female Chief Judge On July 1, 2011, Honorable Linda Ann Wells became the first female Chief Judge to serve on the Court. A ceremony honoring Chief Judge Wells and outgoing Chief Judge Juan Ramirez, Jr. was held at the court on July 14, 2011.
